“Possibly Best Ever”
Casa de la Cuesta afforded, by far, our best vacation experience in many, many years. Our room(s) (San Miguel) included a comfortable living area with wood burning fireplace, two private terraces, and a kitchenette. We spent 10 days with a different breakfast option each day - more than enough food to hold us through a day of shopping, exploring, horseback riding, visiting the outlying areas (with an english speaking driver arranged by Heidi) - and then back for a daily siesta on the terrace, watching the setting sun - before taking the walk down to town for dinner.read more >>>
“Tranquil treasure”
A belated review. We stayed for 6 nights in August 2008 and wished that it could have been longer. The position of the guesthouse within easy walking distance of the town centre and in a typical and authentic Mexican area is to be commended. And then, going through the small wooden doors of the guesthouse and along the striking corridor display of masks and artefacts, one enters the large, open courtyard garden with the sound of running water, walls furnished with local art and sculpture and a great welcome from Heidi and Bill. read more >>>
