Casa de la Cuesta offers six beautifully and individually decorated guest rooms, all with private bath and fireplace. Each room has access to an outdoor terrace with magnificent views of San Miguel, the mountains and sunsets.
Breakfast is served to our guests in the dining room or on the patio depending on the morning temperature, from 9:00am and until 10:00am. We serve a different typical Mexican breakfast each day such as Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, Enmoladas. Enchiladas Rojas, Huevos al Albanil, Rajas con Crema, etc. Breakfast always features an egg dish and includes fresh squeezed orange juice, a tropical fruit plate, yogurt, granola, assorted breads and coffee and tea. Early risers can get coffee and tea in the dining room as early as 7:00AM. We accomodate special dietary needs if you let us know in advance.
Milagros
This room, decorated with milagros, religious icons called miracles, is located on the upper terrace. It has a comfortable seating area with a fireplace, full bath with shower and tub.
Pajaros
The Pajaros, Birds, room on the upper terrace has the most impressive view of La Parroquia, San Miguel's main church. It has its own comfortable seating area with fireplace, full bath with shower/tub and double sinks.
Roman Lopez
This room on the upper terrace is decorated with naif paintings from the Mexican artist Roman Lopez. It has a cozy seating area with fireplace and a full bath with shower/tub.
Mascaras
The Mascaras, Masks, room on the ground level has a comfortable seating area and full bath with shower/tub. This room is decorated with a variety of folk art and many Mexican ceremonial dance masks.
Escondido
The Escondido, Hidden room has a fireplace and a private patio as well as a separate dressing room with full bath.
San Miguel
The San Miguel suite features a large living room with fireplace, a kitchenette, two private terraces and a bathroom with shower and tub.
All rooms, single or double, are $165 USD, tax included. Beds can be made up as king or two singles.
